Hue Color Changing Painting

Here in this Picture I have changed the Hue of the top and of the bottom. Also I have added in a dog that I did not use a oil painting effect on. The dog was easy I just quick select tool with the do and dropped the little guy into the picture. For the Hue Changes I just grabbed my eraser tool and the quick select and made the hue changes that way.

The Color Splash Process

Video Posted on

This is the video that gave me the idea on how to get started on the process of going about on making a color splash that you saw on the post from before. I would show you how I have refined the technics that I have learned but I don’t have any screen capture programs yet on my MacBook. However I made several layers in the files and used similar technics in this video from the quick select tool to the Magic wand and even the Eraser Tools found in your tool bar to make those pictures. This is one of the many ways for you to learn. For most beginners you can use the eraser tool for when you start out after you change the color of the photo. Then erase the other color out to show what color that is underneath the layer or mask.

The Color Splash

If you have been to my other word press blog that shows my work that I have done recently for Photoshop you will noticed that it deals with Digital Painting as of right now. However some of them also have a color splash added to them and in different effects. The ones that I am talking about for the post is called Now that is a wolf of a different color. Here I have a few pictures that I used in the process.

As you can see I added a little bit more than the color splash.

In my next post I will show a tutorial on how I did the Color splash using Adobe CS6 Photoshop.
